Alright. So. Mr. B’s and Natalia’s frames are in full effect. I ended up going with a 44mm HT on Natalia’s build – we get some more room to play with the HT length because we can use a Chris King inset headset (Ck i1 what!). Plus it looks superbadass. The frame is going to be very racey, very stiff, and very light. We went with a complete Spirit for Lugs tubeset (thank you Richard), with Paragon Machine Works bits to round it out. It’s going to be coupled with an Enve fork to boot. That’s a bunch o’links. I’ll have some sexy progress photos next week for you, except that I couldn’t help but to show you this BB / ST joint. Hot.
Otherwise, the newest Atlas is back from powder – clear glossy slammingness. The class is eating up a lot of time, but things are going really well. Even better about the class is that it has asked me to really evaluate and analyze from own practice, process and procedures, and techniques. My work is making gains faster, and my sequences tighter. I’m psyched about that. A few projects on the books, a new prototype machine that I’m not going to tell you about on the books as well. Maybe even a BMX for Geoffrey, exteemed photographer.
Maybe even some riding soon, what?
