Raphael Cycles custom bicycle frames are constructed from steel. Tubing selections come from a wide range of suppliers. By having a variety of sources, I can custom tune a bicycle frame to the desired specifications and ride characteristics. I believe that steel offers the finest in ride quality, beauty, and utility out of any possible material. I will work with you to select form and design that is aesthetically and functionally appropriate.
All custom frames using the best and most appropriate tubing for the design. I use the right materials for the job. I use American made products when possible, and try to support local suppliers as much as I can. This base price also includes 1 color paint or powder coat, and a brass headbadge.

Full build kits are available, using the highest quality components. I like and strongly endorse full builds – I have many years of creating bicycles for myself, friends, and family behind me, and know where to look in the nooks and crannies to find you the components that will make your bicycle even more unique. Builds usually cost between $1000 – $4000. I can build you wheels as well, and in addition to the parts I charge $50 / wheel. If you purchase all of the components through me, the assembly of the bicycle comes at no cost to you. All frames are treated with Framesaver before they leave my shop, ready to ride.
